FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL'21

FUZI ROCK FESTIVAL is a Japanese music festival since 1999. It is the pioneer of rock festivals in Japan, and the largest outdoor music event in Japan with over 200 musicians from around the world.

In 2021, nine stages were prepared and a variety of artists performed on them. Each stage has a different size and concept, so those who visited the festival can enjoy the different atmosphere of each stage.

A small amusement park for children

There are mirror balls and various other decorations along the path connecting each stage, so you will never get bored even while moving to a stage to other stage. At night, they are illuminated and look even more beautiful!

The venue is located in the mountains, which are used as a ski resort in the winter, so the area is rich in nature. You can also play in the river.

In the venue, stores from all over Japan set up stalls, where you can enjoy a variety of food.

The Green Stage is nice to look at up close,but it's also nice to lay on the hill and watch!

I learned that if I want to relax, I had to bring a chair with a backrest...

This year's Fuji Rock was held over three days, and the headliner for the first day was RADWIMPS. They played a song they had written for this event, "SUMMER DAZE", and the crowd went wild.

The last artist of the first day was Vaundy at RED MARQUEE. His stylish and emotive music was perfect for the midnight RED MARQUEE.

This year, only domestic artists performed due to the corona virus, but in previous years, there were some great international artists on stage. Hopefully this situation will end soon so that both international artists and audiences will be able to attend this wonderful music festival.
